Courtney Bohrer, M.Ed, CCC/SLP
Speech Language Pathologist
Courtney graduated from the University of Georgia with her Bachelor of Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders, while minoring in Child and Family Development in 2013. She thereafter obtained her Master of Education in Communication Disorders at Valdosta State University in 2015. She has previously worked with children with disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADD/ADHD, cerebral palsey, Down syndrome and developmental disorders. Courtney has experience evaluating and treating children with apraxia of speech, hearing loss, fluency disorder, articulation/phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders and pragmatice/communication language disorders. In addition, she has also worked with second language learners in treating speech and language disorders. She is PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets) trained and has attended other training for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in order for children to maximize communication. Courtney loves working closely with parents and other areas of discipline in order to maximize progress and skill carryover for each client. Courtney also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Amber Prentice, M.S., CCC/SLP

Amber received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida in 2013. She continued her education at Florida International University where she obtained her Masters of Science degree in Speech Pathology in 2015. Since graduating her masters program, Amber has worked in the PPEC (prescribed pediatric extended care) setting where she has experienced working with children and young adults ages 0-21 demonstrating with a variety of disorders such as cerebral palsy, down syndrome, autism spectrum disorder, chromosomal abnormalities, developmental delays, hearing loss, articulation/phonological disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, cleft palate and dysphagia. Amber plans on attending continuing education conferences to further extend her knowledge of feeding therapy, an area she is very passionate about, as well as, the use and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. She feels that the integration of all therapy disciplines is a very important aspect in obtaining the absolute best overall outcome for each client. Amber holds a Certificate of Competence from the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
Susan Eckhart, M.A., CCC/SLP

Susan recieved her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Illinois State University. She continued her education at Saint Louis University earning her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 20014. She began her career working in the Columbia County School System as a Speech Language Pathologist (PreK-5) for six years before moving to the Atlanta area. She then accepted a position with the Georgia Department of Education as the Program Manager for the Speech Impaired Program. Susan then transitioned back to the Forsyth County School System. Susan has experience working with children diagnosed with autism, Down Syndrome, chromosomal abnormalities, developmental disorders, apraxia of speech, articulation/phonology disorders, language disorders and dysphagia. Susan hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Susan enjoys working in a multi-disciplinary clinic in order for professionals to collaborate to best meet the needs of each child.
Clare Page Ward, PT, DPT.
Physical Therapist
In 2015, Clare graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to that, she earned her B.S. in Biology, Magna Cum Laude, from Kennesaw State University. Clare is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and has completed research that focused on the best practices to measure physical activity in young children. Clare has completed several clinical rotations in pediatric settings including outpatient, early intervention and hippotherapy with diagnoses including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delay, traumatic brain injury, Tetralogy of Fallot and various orthopedic injuries. Clare has a passion for helping children and their families achieve their therapeutic goals.
Julia Inscoe, PT, DPT/L
Physical Therapist
Julia received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Augusta University in 2017. She received her B.S. in exercise science with a minor in physical education from Georgia College and State University in 2014. Julia is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). She received educational experience including adult and pediatric outpatient care, school-based therapy, adult inpatient care, and a medical mission trip to Cusco, Peru. During her graduate studies, she enjoyed volunteering with the Ronald McDonald House and hippotherapy. Julia has experience working with children of all ages with varying diagnosis including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Marfan Syndrome, Achondroplasia, Torticollis, Developmental Delay, Autism, chromosomal abnormalities, and various orthopedic conditions. Julia is passionate about the field of pediatric rehabilitation and would like to become a pediatric certified specialist in the future. She strives to help children and their families meet their goals by promoting independence and improved functioning in a fun and playful environment. Julia believes that every child deserves a true childhood and every caregiver should have the opportunity to watch their child grow.
Victoria Mitchell, M.S., OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Victoria graduated with a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of South Alabama in 2011. She was introduced to the world of occupational therapy when a family member was in need of occupational therapy services due to a severe traumatic brain injury. She was offered a position at her last clinical setting, in graduate school, starting her career in acute adult in-patient rehabilitation. During her time in adult rehabilitation, she was able to work with a variety of conditions, including stroke, dementia, amputations, and neurological disorders. In 2012, she was able to transition into pediatrics and has been working in out-patient pediatrics since. Vicky enjoys and has talent for working with children who have neurological, genetic, and sensory conditions and/or deficits. She also has a passion for handwriting and is currently in the process of becoming handwriting certified through the Handwriting Without Tears Program. Vicky is certified to practice the Blomberg Rhythmic Movement Training Method (BRMT), which is a neurodevelopmental movement and primitive reflex integration program for brain maturation and integration. Vicky’s rule of practice is to treat children in her care the way she would expect others to treat her own children. Her passion for her career as an occupational therapists is fueled by the joys she feels watching a child overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. She loves that each day, she gets to be a part of a child’s journey as they improve their functional abilities, gain independence, and self confidence along the way.
Raeanne Gialanella, M.S., OTR/L

Raeanne graduated with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy from Duquesne University in 2015. She was inspired to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy after witnessing the positive impact it had on her younger sister with special needs. She has dedicated herself towards working with children and families, hoping to have the same influence that her sister’s therapists had on her. Raeanne has experience working within pediatric outpatient clinics, community based early intervention settings, and school districts. She has provided creative and evidence-based treatment for children birth to 21 years old, with a wide range of conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, feeding difficulties, chromosomal abnormalities, and genetic conditions. Raeanne is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and strives to remain educated on current evidence for quality treatment approaches. She has presented research regarding OT practice in resource-scarce countries at a regional level and at AOTA’s national conference. She is a certified provider of The Listening Program (TLP), Interactive Metronome (IM), and the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to feeding. She truly enjoys being a part of a child’s path to independence and is constantly inspired by their unique ability to overcome obstacles and achieve goals.
Olivia Merritt, M.S., OTR/L

In 2017, Olivia received her Master of Occupational Therapy from West Virginia University. Alongside her degree, Olivia was awarded the “Academic Achievement Award” and the “Innovation in Research” award from the WVU Division of Occupational Therapy. She formerly graduated with her B.A. in Human Performance and Health in 2016. Olivia received educational experience in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient pediatrics, early intervention services, adult inpatient rehabilitation, and geriatrics. Here she worked with a variety of pediatric conditions including Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, ADHD/ADD, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay and Learning Disabilities. In 2015, Olivia served as a mentor through AmeriCorps to deliver educational and therapeutic experiences to underserved children, which allowed her to gain a special appreciation for enriching the lives of children with diverse special needs, abilities, and backgrounds. Olivia relocated to Atlanta to pursue a career in pediatric OT where she has a passion for connecting with children and families in order to help them reach their fullest potential and succeed in their daily occupations. She is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association where she enjoys attending continuing education courses and has plans to build her knowledge in sensory integration and neuromuscular reflex integration. Olivia is excited to be a part of an inter-disciplinary team that strives to engage and motivate children to reach their goals, gain self-confidence, and flourish as individuals.
Amanda Gay, M.S., OTR/L

Amanda received her Master of Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy from Augusta University in 2017. She formerly graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the same university. Amanda’s educational experience includes a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, geriatric, skilled nursing facility, acute care, hippotherapy, and long term care/transitional care settings. She started her career at a private outpatient pediatric clinic where she worked with a variety of children and families. She has worked with children of all ages with varying conditions including Autism, ADHD/ADD, Developmental Delay, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Spinal Cord Injuries, Cerebral Palsy, and ODD. Amanda is a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the Georgia Occupational Therapy Association (GOTA). She was awarded the “Who’s Who” Among Students award in American Universities and Colleges in 2017 at Augusta University. She has volunteered, and continues to enjoy volunteering, with Camp To Be Independent, Surfers for Autism, and Tri My Best Triathlons. Her special interests include early intervention, Down Syndrome, Autism, Sensory Disorders, and children with behavioral and emotional disorders. Amanda’s mission is to provide evidence based, family centered care to promote independence, success, and the full potential of the child and family.
Georgia Beauregard, MSW, BCBA

Georgia graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Sociology in 2010. She earned a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Denver in 2013, concentrating in School-based Social Work and Animal Assisted Therapy. While working with children with autism and behavioral needs in Denver area schools, she grew increasingly interested in ABA. She went on to pursue post graduate certification in Applied Behavior Analysis from Drexel University in 2015. While in Philadelphia, she worked as a behavior therapist in home, school, and clinic-based settings. After moving back to her hometown of Atlanta, she became certified as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Georgia has experience working with children who exhibit severe problem behaviors and co-occurring psychiatric disorders in acute hospital settings. She is passionate about working with her client’s families to develop creative interventions tailored to each individual child.

Haley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Berry College in 2014. Upon graduating, she spent three years working with individuals aged 13-22 in an ABA based center. This is where she developed her skill set for behavior intervention and skill acquisition. During this time, she also returned to graduate school. In 2016, she received a Masters of Education degree in The Foundations of Applied Behavior Analysis from The University of Cincinnati. She worked in clinical, school, and home settings. She decided to pursue her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis in 2016 and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in May 2017. Haley enjoys working with children and their families in helping them achieve their goals.
Shannon Harris, M.S., BCBA

Shannon earned her Bachelor’s Degree in psychology with a music minor from Auburn University. While attending Auburn, she began working with preschool children receiving early intervention services. She went to earn her master’s degree in applied psychology with an emphasis in behavior analysis from Jacksonville State University. She then completed a post-master’s internship at The Scott Center for Autism Treatment at the Florida Institute of Technology. Her experience has included providing early intervention services to young children, social skills training to children in elementary and middle school staff. She has worked in clinics, schools, and homes. Her clinical interests include early intervention, verbal behavior, and social skills training. Shannon has a passion for working with her clients and their families and loves seeing her clients grow and learn.

Erica graduated from Cleveland State University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2010. She is currently working on earning her Master’s Degree in ABA from Ball State University to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Erica has one and half years of experience working with children with autism and various behavior and learning disabilities. Erica has experience working in a school and home setting and has a passion for serving the children she works with.

Mallory Andrews graduated for LaGrange College with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 2009. She served as a lead ABA therapist for three years at a center for children with behavioral disorders, Autism, and learning disabilities. Afterwards, she worked for three years for the public school system as a one on one aid and a special Ed paraprofessional. Mallory is extremely passionate about working with children with special needs.
Akeem Mckie, B.A.

Akeem McKie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgia State University. He is currently working on his Master’s degree in Educational Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis at Georgia State University. Akeem has worked with children with Autism, and other like disabilities, for the past six years in multiple settings, which include residential, centers for children with unique needs, in-home, as well as providing respite for special needs children and their siblings through Autumn’s Gifts. He has extensive experience in providing support and training to families in managing problem behaviors. Once he completes his Master’s degree, Akeem plans to pursue becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Michelle Plymel, M.Ed.

Michelle graduated in 2008 with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University, in Morrow, GA, where she was inducted into Psi Chi, the National Psychological Honors Society. During her senior year of her undergraduate program, she volunteered to be part of a study conducted by Emory University at the Marcus Institute. During the study, she was responsible for implementing mathematical teaching strategies using the MILE program, which is now published and used in schools and homes to help teach math to children with FAS. Upon graduation, she worked in the Early Intervention program at The Marcus Autism Center, now part of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Here, she worked with children with diagnoses including autism, apraxia, hearing loss, seizure disorders, sensory processing disorder, conduct disorders, receptive and expressive language disorders, and medically sensitive children. While at Marcus, Michelle began her Master’s in Early Childhood Education, with an emphasis in Special Education. In addition, she has completed her graduate courses in Positive Behavior Support, a certification program back by the science of Applied Behavior Analysis. After completing her fieldwork supervision hours, she plans to receive her BCBA. With this certification, she strives to continue to reinforce positive behavior and help build skills and achievement, including social skills, adaptive living skills, self-help sills, socio-emotional skills, and academic skills. Michelle is a certified Special Educator, as well, and was recently a lead teacher at a private school servicing elementary aged children on the spectrum. Here, she taught her students using general education curriculum with modifications, based on the Georgia Standards Core curriculum. She has over 7 years of experience in working with children with special needs in institutes, schools, and in homes. Michelle enjoys creating effective changes in the lives of children and their families.

Summer has studied at Savannah College of Art and Design as well as Kennesaw State University. She has 13 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum ages 2-16. Summer has training in ABA, VB, Theory of Mind, Social Skills, NET, and implementing PT/OT/ST goals. Summer has worked as a lead therapist in the following settings; in-home, public schools, private schools, summer camp, and special needs ministry. She strives to continue educating herself in order to provide the most comprehensive treatment capable of meeting the needs of the individual child.

Recently she worked at a private preschool in Atlanta specializing in Behavior Management. There she created data charts and strategy plans for teacher’s to implement. Shanthika also provided services for a company implementing in home therapy services. Her passion for helping people with special needs is growing rapidly and Shanthika is planning to pursue her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Anna graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Services and a concentration in case management. During college, Anna realized her passion for working with the special needs community and completed internships in this field. She completed her last internship before graduation and fell in love with the the Autism community. She interned at a center for children with Autism and became an ABA Therapist during this time. After working in the field for over 2 years, Anna truly believes that she has been called to work with the Autism community and be an advocate and support for those children and family members involved. She always has had a passion for working with children, including experience as a children’s ministry leader, many years providing nanny services, and working as a gymnastics teacher with the Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department. Anna looks forward to working alongside the Therapyland Team to provide quality support and therapy to those children she treats.

Rebekah graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Psychology with an emphasis in neuroscience in 2015. During her undergraduate studies, all of her research and lab work was focused on sensory integration in children with autism. Rebekah is currently working towards her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction:Applied Behavior Analysis, with plans to graduate and sit for the BCBA exam in the summer of 2018. She has been working with children, specifically children with autism, since high school. After college graduation, Rebekah began working in ABA at a center in Florida. Her center provided extensive training and experience to strengthen Rebekah’s skills as a behavior therapist. Originally from Georgia, she wanted to move back to be closer to friends and family and looks forward to continuing her career in ABA.

In Virginia, Courtnie worked in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis providing one on one in home treatment to a diverse set of children of varying functioning levels. She has experience in DTT (Discrete Trial Teaching) and NET (Natural Environmental Teaching). Courtnie loves to see all of the progress her clients make over time. She has over seven years of experience with children and adults with developmental disorders in both New York and Atlanta. Her background in speech-language pathology as an assistant in the academic and home settings and her work as a 1:1 learning coach for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and speech and language disorders have given her a passion fro seeing her clients reach their full potential. While in school, She served as a respite care provider to autistic twins, volunteered during hippotherapy sessions, and worked with severe behaviors in a clinical setting. Lacey plans to continue her studies by obtaining her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University. Kaytlin graduated from the University of North Georgia in May of 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. Her original intent was to go into Early Childhood Education, but that changed when she found a fascination in her required introductory Psychology course and wanted to learn the bigger picture of psychology and the content within the field. Kaytlin has a love for ABA because it ties in two of her biggest interests, teaching one on one and psychology. She has experience working in the clinic, school, and home settings and enjoys working in a setting alongside other team members who share her same passions. Kaytlin plans to go go back to school for Program Administration so she may ensure all individuals on the spectrum receive appropriate treatment and services regarding their diagnosis.

Marketta graduated from Savannah State University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Behavior Analysis. While in school, she discovered her passion for working with children with special needs while interning at a summer camp designed for children and adults with Autism. After two summers of working in the camp setting, Marketta graduated and became a paraprofessional at a private school for those diagnosed with Autism. There, she taught children ages 5-18 years old for two years. When she was not teaching at the school, she spent her afternoons tutoring and providing respite care for a teenager diagnosed with Autism as he attended high school alongside neurotypical children. Once Marketta moved from Savannah to Atlanta, she began providing in-home therapy for children on the spectrum as an ABA therapist. Marketta plans to continue her education by working towards her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis with emphasis in Autism from Ball State University. Once she earns her degree, she plans to pursue becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Marketta truly loves working with children and enjoys being able to assist in their growth while making treatment an enjoyable experience.

Megan graduated from Georgia State in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and intends to return to school in 2018 to pursue her Master’s. She has always been passionate about working with children. Her first job involved working as a special education assistant instructor in an after school program. Since then, Megan has also worked in a juvenile psychiatric facility with children with intellectual developmental disorders and treated kids with Autism and emotional behavioral disorders in homes and schools. Megan is excited to continue her education so that she can better assist children and their families.

Shelby earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in 2015. Upon graduation, she began working as a behavior therapist at an early intervention clinic in Gainesville, FL. During this time, Shelby provided behavior therapy in the community, home, and clinic settings to children ages two to fourteen. During this time, Shelby developed a passion for teaching children on the Autism Spectrum and for the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. She truly enjoys treating children with various developmental and behavioral disorders.

She had previously done volunteer work with hippotherapy where she saw excellent benefits for the special needs community. She currently volunteers with Camp Big Heart which specializes in providing recreational camping experiences for developmentally challenged children and adults. Jessica most recently worked for an ABA clinic in Chicago, IL. This is where she discovered her love for the practice. She enjoys getting to know each and every child and loves helping to encourage them to become more confident and independent.

Samantha graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Social Work. Following graduation, she went on to earn her Master’s of Social Work from Barry University in Miami Shores, FL. Throughout her master’s degree; she realized she wanted to work with individuals with special needs. She wanted to impact the daily and future lives of these individuals by helping them with skill acquisition and behavior reduction, which would further their autonomy and independence. She entered the field as an ABA therapist, quickly fell in love with the profession, and became a Registered Behavior Technician. She has experience working both in center and home settings, applying various ABA techniques with a range of children 2-13 years old. Samantha plans to further her education by pursuing her Master’s degree.

Olivia graduated from Wofford College in May 2017 where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. While in school, Olivia completed her senior thesis on ABA research focusing on the use of kinesthesis as practice cue for skill acquisition. She also wrote a literature review on prompt fading techniques focused on best practice to reduce prompt dependence in children with Autism. In 2015, Olivia started working as an ABA therapist in South Carolina and quickly developed a passion for working with autistic children and their families. In Summer 2017, she became a Registered Behavior Technician. Olivia enjoys working with the autism community and applying current research to provide the most effective therapy to her clients. With experience primarily based in home, she looks forward to collaborating with other therapists in the clinical setting.

Ramsee graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in May 2018. She is currently working toward her Master’s Degree in ABA from Ball State University. She worked in Tampa, FL where she worked as an RBT at a special needs school for children with Autism and other related developmental disabilities. Ramsee also has experience in a clinical setting with more than 450 hours working directly with children and adults, ages 3-40, engaging in test administration and providing therapy following diagnosis.

She worked as a behavioral therapist in Florida where she discovered her love for the profession. In Florida, she provided behavior therapy to children diagnosed with autism from ages 2-10. She provided behavior therapy in a variety of settings, such as, in homes, community and clinics. She also worked in Honolulu, Hawaii schools as a skills trainer to children with various developmental and behavior disorders.

Erica is working toward her Master of Science in Counseling with a concentration in Advance Applied Behavior Analysis at Nova Southeastern University. She is from Maryland and attended Bethune Cookman University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She has a passion for working with kids with disabilities and was first introduced to the field by working in a summer camp as an inclusion counselor. Erica decided to work for a school strictly for children with disabilities as a paraprofessional. Her experience in ABA began several years ago while working for an autism center of excellence in Tampa, FL. Working with children with disabilities has changed Erica’s life and has given her all the reward she needs.

Heather is currently enrolled at Kennesaw State University working towards her Bachelor’s in Special Education. Heather’s passion for helping children with disabilities developed at a young age when she volunteered at The House of Hope and for The We Care Ministries. Heather turned her passion into a full time career. She began to work within the Coweta County School System by helping to establish the first ABA program in the public school district. Heather has recently discovered all of the benefits of providing services in the ABA clinic. It is Heather’s personal goal to provide children with a fun, non-restrictive, creative, and effective learning environment that is personalized to meet each child’s diverse needs.

Savannah graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2017 earning her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She in currently working on her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism to eventually earn her BCBA. Savannah realized she wanted to work in the field of autism through respite care with autistic twins. She discovered her love of Applied Behavior Analaysis through an internship and holding two positions at Marcus Autism Center. Her last position focused on toilet training children with autism, As well as, transitioning clients from a clinical setting to a less restrictive school setting. She was able to gain experience working in the home, clinical, and community settings. Savannah is not afraid to be goofy to make a child smile and truly gets excited by a child’s small victories and strives to make children with disabilities feel special.
